How do you measure a country's value?

Every country in the world wants to attract businesses and visitors, and of course the money they bring to the economy, but how do you rank a countries value and it’s appeal? Traditionally the size of its economy is the defining factor, but other dimensions like environmental record and quality of life are fast becoming important measures of a country brand.
